TERMS & CONDITIONS
We require a 50% deposit at the time of booking to hold your date. This deposit is non-refundable if cancelled without at least 72-hour notice, however can be applied to a rescheduled date if 24-hour notice is provided. Full payment is required 3 hours prior to the start of the planned event.
Due to possible inconvenient weather conditions, it is your responsibility to check the forecast and reach out to Risa Events to reschedule or make accommodations, at least 24 hours before the planned event. If there is no notice, you will be charged for the planned event, rain or shine.
Home set-ups can be arranged in accommodation for inconvenient weather conditions if there is at least a 24 hour notice that is provided.
There is no guarantee that the requested spots for the event set-up will be achievable.
Rescheduling of an event can be accommodated for anytime within the next year (365 days) from the planned event, depending on availability.
Risa Events is happy to order, arrange and pick-up food requests. We will charge a $25 fee for these services, subject to change based on restaurant location.
You are welcome to bring your own food to our set-ups. However, the following policy applies;
Any customer who is to bring food not ordered or arranged by the Risa Events team to the set-up, the client must meet a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the event with the food to be arranged by the Risa Events Team.
Any food not ordered or arranged by Risa Events is subject to a fee of $10.00, in the case of the food requested to be arranged by Risa Events. This fee covers the labour, the rental use of equipment (i.e. boards and decorative platters) and the clean-up of all food items/ garbage.
In the case that the client declines these services, the client is in charge of the disposal of any garbage or food scraps produced. However, Risa will collect all dirty dishes. Any boards or decorative platters will not be provided, and the arrangement of food will be your own responsibility.
Any items broken and/or damaged during an event will be reviewed and may be charged to the credit card account provided at the time of booking to replace the item/ equal cost.
If alcohol will be present or requested for an indoor or private residence event, Risa Events require identification stating the event host is over 19 years of age.
All bookings must be done at least 72 hours in advance with a 50% deposit of the event’s total charge that will be paid at the time of booking. Booking that occurs in less than 72 hours in advance by special exceptions will be permitted to pay full price at the booking time.
The payment method used by Risa Events is e-transfer.
